This is a classic Vermont Fall Foliage Tour led by a top Vermont-based landscape photographer. There are multiple tour options available, depending on your flexibility to travel and where the peak foliage will be during the week of the tour.

TOUR HIGHLIGHTS: Vermont * Fall Foliage * Covered Bridge * Vermont Villages *Lakes

TOUR DESCRIPTION: Participants for this classic fall foliage tour can choose from five possible routes, depending on where the peak foliage will be.

Once you book a day for your tour we will send you GPS coordinates, a map of the route, and the contact phone number and e-mail address of the tour guide.

The possible routes are listed below.

Northern Route - Montgomery Covered Bridges, Hazen's Notch Rd, McAllister Pond, Irasburg, Lake Willoughby

North Central Route A - South Royalton, Tunbridge and Chelsea Covered Bridges, Waite's River, East Corinth

North Central Route B - Moss Glen Falls, Warren and Waitsfield Covered Bridges, Stowe, Smugglers, Notch, Pleasant Valley

Central Route A - Woodstock Green, Jenne Farm, Taftsville Covered Bridge, Sleepy Hollow, Calvin Coolidge Site

Central Route B - Brown Covered Bridge, North Shrewsbury Village, Woodward Reservoir, Mission Farm Rd, Various Killingtom/Pico Views. Leffert's Pond/ Chittenden Reservoir

Southern Route A - Wells Village, Dorset Quarry, Views of Mt Equinox along Route 7A, Old North Church, Bennington Monument, North Bennington Covered Bridges

Southern Route B - Newfane Village, Dummerston Covered Bridge, Madamme Sherri Ruin, Guilford Center, Green River Covered Bridge

LENGTH: Full Day -- 9 am to sunset

TRANSPORTATION: Tour participants have to have their own transportation. GPS coordinates and road maps will be given out prior to the tour start.

SUGGESTED EQUIPMENT AND EXPERTISE:
DSLR or mirror-less camera with control over focus and exposure. Having various lenses or a zoom lens would be a plus. Having a tripod would also be a big plus as we may be able to get a sunset or some early dusk shots of a village.

PHOTOGRAPHIC FOCUS: I will provide guidance on locations as well as coaching on exposure, and composition. Depending upon the interest we can also explore post-processing and editing.

CANCELLATION: Tour can be cancelled by the attendee for a full refund up to 3 days prior to the event. This is an outdoor tour, which is dependent on weather. We will not be able to take photos in rain or snow, but will provide a rain date close to the scheduled event. In case of tour cancellation or rescheduling, a refund can be issued.

Keith Edmunds was born and raised in Vermont. He currently lives and works in Rutland. He began working as an art and scenic photographer over 30 years ago. Eventually he moved south and for 15 plus years he lived in the Tampa/ St Petersburg, Florida region where he exhibited and worked. Among other positions there he managed a photo lab, taught digital imaging, and worked as a portrait photographer.

Upon his return to Vermont he still continued with some art and commercial work, but has since primarily dedicated his energies to local landscape, scenic work, and local portraits. His work has been shown at various galleries and is currently available as the Silver Spoon Gallery in Ludlow, VT.

He does various work for magazines and calendars. He has been featured and additionally wrote a series of articles for the Greek art magazine Serendipity. His work was in several recent calendars published by Vermont Life. In 2015 his photographs were featured as the cover for two magazines in Vermont, the autumn edition of The Kingdom Guide and the winter issue of Vermont Magazine.
